The crystal clear waters of this famous Caribbean island are well known by divers worldwide for it’s warm waters and
rich sea-life. Located in the heart of the second largest barrier reef in the world, this diver’s paradise is very alive
and full of underwater treasures, including exotic coral formations, tropical fish, eagle rays, and sea turtles.
If you are looking for small groups and professional service at a great value, our exclusive Babieca Dive Center has
it. On your dive you will be with a maximum of 8 people per guide. You will board the dive boat right from the dock at
the El Cid Ceiba resort and do 2 dives from 50 to 80 feet depending on individual skill levels. Our guides are very
experienced PADI certified instructors, and our dive center, staff, and boats are fully prepared and insured for your safety.
If you bring your own equipment, we have lockers especially designed for dive bags, or choose the tour ‘with equipment’
and we will provide everything you need, a regulator, BCD, wetsuit, mask, snorkel and fins.
We also offer specialty dives, including a deep dive to one of several different sites, or choose an adventure to a
sunken ship. Four people are required for our specialty dives and have an additional cost of $10 per person. Simply
indicate your interest in the comments box when making your reservation and your confirmation will reflect your dive choice.

For those who have never been diving before, we invite you to take our Discover Diving course, where you will first
learn the basics of diving, and then go on an actual dive with your instructor. This is a very popular way to get a ‘taste’
of what scuba diving is like. This course is very safe and fully certified by the largest professional association of
diving instructors in the world, P.A.D.I.
Tours include:
- Certified dive masters
- All equipment included, or if you book '2-Tank Dive W/Out Equipment' you must
bring your own BC, regulator, mask, fins, and snorkel.
- Purified drinking water
What to bring: Proof of Certification: PADI, IDEA, NAUI, SSI, CMAS, NASDS,
YMCA (unless you are doing the Discover Diving), beach wear, and biodegradable sun screen.
